身為一個滿是傷疤的人，開句玩笑話，心裡曾經是，身體也是，我對疤痕的治療格外感興趣，多少為一己的私心，總想著希望有一天，這些烙在身上大面積的深二度跟三度的傷疤，能夠被抹去。長年觀察著自己身上的疤，共存久了看著看著倒也就習慣，但曾經經歷過的適應期，我很是明白在青少年、青壯年、成年時期才造成的嚴重疤，對於一個人心緒的影響有多麼巨大，成功的疤痕治療，帶來的不僅僅是美的問題，還有心靈的修復。
疤痕待解決的問題，有五大面向：凹凸、色素沈澱、色素脫失（反白）、泛紅、攣縮。而更深入就凹凸做探討，疤痕還可分成：
